Team Performance

Lead With
Purpose.
Scale With
Power.

In Web3, leadership is existential. Teams move fast, governance is complex, uncertainty is constant and the stakes are high. We have built five leadership programmes specifically for the Web3 environment, drawing from the world's most rigorous frameworks and rebuilding them for the realities of decentralised organisations, remote-first cultures and exponential growth.

01
Based on Situational Leadership II · Web3 Adapted
Situational Leadership for Web3 Teams
Lead differently. Lead effectively. Lead for where your team actually is.
2-Day Programme
All Leadership Levels
+

Programme Overview

Blanchard's Situational Leadership II is one of the world's most widely used leadership frameworks, and for good reason. It teaches leaders to diagnose where each team member is in their development and flex their leadership style accordingly. In Web3, this is especially critical.

A Web3 team might include a 22-year-old DeFi native who needs minimal direction, a veteran finance professional who is new to the blockchain space and needs heavy support, and a community lead who is brilliant but needs accountability. One leadership style does not serve all three.

This programme trains your leaders to diagnose development levels, flex between directive and supportive behaviours, and build the kind of team environment where every contributor performs at their peak, regardless of location, timezone or whether they are core team or DAO contributor.

Programme Modules

  • The Four Leadership Styles in Web3Directing, Coaching, Supporting, Delegating. Learn when to use each in decentralised team environments
  • Diagnosing Development LevelsAssessing competence and commitment across different tasks, roles and project stages in your organisation

  • Leading Remote and Async Web3 TeamsApplying situational leadership principles across distributed teams who may never meet in person
  • Partnership and Trust AgreementsCreating clear expectations and accountability structures with contributors, core team and DAO delegates
  • Live Scenario WorkshopsReal Web3 leadership dilemmas including governance deadlocks, contributor underperformance and rapid scaling, all practised in groups

02
Based on Radical Candor · Kim Scott · Web3 Adapted
Radical Candor: Feedback Culture for Web3
Care personally. Challenge directly. Build teams that grow through honest conversation.
2-Day Programme
Managers and Leads
+

Programme Overview

Kim Scott's Radical Candor framework has transformed how thousands of managers give feedback, build relationships and create cultures of honest performance. We have adapted it for Web3, where feedback dynamics are complicated by flat hierarchies, anonymous contributors, token incentives and community sensitivities.

Most Web3 leaders fall into one of two failure modes: ruinous empathy, being too nice to give real feedback, or obnoxious aggression, bluntness without compassion. Radical Candor builds the third path: the ability to challenge directly while caring deeply about the person.

This programme is particularly impactful for founding teams where everyone is a peer, for DAOs where feedback culture is undefined, and for any organisation experiencing performance problems they are reluctant to address openly.

Programme Modules

  • The Radical Candor Matrix in Web3 OrgsUnderstanding Radical Candor, Ruinous Empathy, Obnoxious Aggression and Manipulative Insincerity in decentralised team contexts
  • Caring Personally in Remote TeamsBuilding genuine relationships with contributors you may never meet, and why it makes feedback land differently
  • Challenging Directly Without Destroying TrustThe specific language and frameworks for delivering difficult feedback in Web3 team and community environments
  • Giving and Receiving Feedback as a LeaderModelling feedback culture from the top, and how leaders invite honest input from their own team
  • Praise, Criticism and The Art of SpecificityMaking feedback actionable, timely and growth-oriented rather than vague or demoralising
  • Building a Feedback Culture in Your ProtocolEmbedding Radical Candor practices into your team rituals, retrospectives and governance processes

What Your Leaders Will Be Able to Do

Give feedback that is direct, compassionate and actionable
Build genuine care in remote and async relationships
Address performance issues before they become crises
Receive feedback with openness and model it for the team
Navigate founder-team feedback dynamics with clarity
Design feedback rituals into team culture and governance
Suitable for: Founders, Team leads, Anyone responsible for people performance

Harvard Adaptive Leadership · Heifetz and Linsky · Web3 Adapted
Adaptive Leadership for Web3 Volatility
Lead through uncertainty. Distinguish the technical from the adaptive. Get on the balcony.
3-Day Programme
Senior Leaders and Founders
+

Programme Overview

Ronald Heifetz and Marty Linsky's Adaptive Leadership is the most sophisticated leadership framework in existence for navigating complex, ambiguous challenges where there is no clear technical solution. It was developed at Harvard and has been used by heads of state, CEOs and military commanders. We have rebuilt it entirely for Web3.

Web3 is defined by adaptive challenges: problems without clear answers. Bear markets, regulatory shifts, governance crises, community revolts and rapid technological change all require a kind of leadership that most frameworks do not train for. Adaptive Leadership teaches your leaders to distinguish between technical problems, where expertise solves it, and adaptive challenges, where people need to change.

This is our most intellectually rigorous programme, and the one that consistently produces the most transformative leadership shifts.

Programme Modules

  • Technical vs Adaptive Challenges in Web3Diagnosing whether your problem needs a technical fix or a behavioural and cultural shift, and why misidentifying this is so costly
  • Getting on the BalconyDeveloping the meta-awareness to observe your organisation's dynamics from above the fray, seeing patterns you could not see from inside the action
  • Regulating Distress in OrganisationsManaging the productive tension necessary for change without letting it overwhelm your team or community
  • Giving Work Back to the PeopleDistributing adaptive challenges rather than carrying them alone. This is especially critical in DAO governance and community-led protocols
  • Managing Your AuthorisationUnderstanding where your leadership authority comes from, whether formal, informal or community based, and how to protect and deploy it wisely
  • Surviving the Leadership CruciblePersonal resilience, staying alive in the face of community pressure, regulatory uncertainty and team burnout

What Your Leaders Will Be Able to Do

Distinguish and navigate adaptive vs technical challenges
Lead effectively through bear markets and governance crises
Develop meta-awareness in complex team dynamics
Build sustainable change without burning out
Distribute leadership effectively across decentralised orgs
Maintain personal resilience under extreme pressure
Suitable for: Founders, C-suite, Protocol Governors, Senior Team Leads

Emotional Intelligence Leadership · Goleman · Web3 Adapted
Emotional Intelligence for Web3 Leaders
The skill that separates good leaders from great ones in any market cycle.
2-Day Programme
All Leadership Levels
+

Programme Overview

Daniel Goleman's research on Emotional Intelligence showed that EI accounts for nearly 90% of the difference between average and outstanding leaders. Self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy and social skill are the capabilities that separate leaders who build great teams from those who burn through them.

In Web3, EI is tested to an extreme degree. Community sentiment can turn overnight. Market volatility creates anxiety throughout the organisation. Remote work reduces the natural social cues that regulate emotional dynamics. And in pseudonymous environments, leaders often lack the interpersonal data they would have in a traditional office.

This programme builds five core EI competencies specifically calibrated for the emotional landscape of Web3, helping leaders manage themselves, connect with their teams and create the psychological safety that high performance requires.

Programme Modules

  • Self-Awareness in High-Velocity EnvironmentsUnderstanding your emotional triggers, leadership blind spots and default stress responses in fast-moving Web3 contexts
  • Self-Regulation Under Market PressureManaging your emotional state during bear markets, community crises and high-stakes decision moments
  • Intrinsic Motivation in Decentralised TeamsSustaining drive and inspiring it in others when external rewards are unpredictable and token values fluctuate
  • Empathy Across Cultures and ContextsDeveloping genuine empathy for team members across different time zones, cultures and backgrounds in global Web3 teams
  • Social Skills for Community LeadersInfluence, communication, conflict management and collaboration skills for leaders who are also public figures in their ecosystem
  • Psychological Safety by DesignBuilding team environments where people take risks, share concerns and perform at their best regardless of market conditions

What Your Leaders Will Be Able to Do

Manage personal emotional responses in high-pressure moments
Build genuine empathy with diverse global teams
Create psychological safety across distributed teams
Influence and inspire without formal authority
Navigate community dynamics with emotional intelligence
Sustain team motivation through market volatility
Suitable for: All leaders, Founders, Community managers, People with team responsibility

OKRs and Strategic Execution · Google/Intel Framework · Web3 Adapted
OKR Execution and Strategic Alignment for Web3
Stop running fast in multiple directions. Align. Execute. Scale.
2-Day Programme
Leadership Teams
+

Programme Overview

OKRs, Objectives and Key Results, are the framework behind Google, Intel, Spotify, Airbnb and hundreds of the world's highest-performing organisations. They solve the hardest leadership challenge: how do you align a fast-moving team around the things that actually matter, measure progress clearly and maintain momentum without micromanagement?

In Web3, this challenge is amplified. Teams are often distributed across the globe, contributors have varying levels of commitment and priorities can shift dramatically based on market conditions, governance votes or ecosystem developments. Most Web3 projects operate in a permanent state of tactical reaction, doing a lot, moving fast, but struggling to make consistent strategic progress.

This programme teaches leadership teams to set ambitious Objectives, define meaningful Key Results and build the organisational rhythms that translate strategy into weekly execution. We adapt the OKR framework specifically for DAO governance structures, contributor-based organisations and rapid-growth protocols.

Programme Modules

  • OKR Foundations for Web3 OrgsThe mechanics of Objectives and Key Results, and how they differ from traditional KPIs in decentralised team structures
  • Setting Ambitious Objectives in Uncertain MarketsDefining inspiring, directional objectives that motivate teams even when market conditions make long-term planning difficult
  • Designing Meaningful Key ResultsWriting KRs that are specific, measurable and genuinely indicative of real progress rather than vanity metrics
  • OKRs in Decentralised GovernanceAligning DAO contributors, core teams and token holders around shared objectives without losing organisational autonomy
  • The Weekly Check-In and CadenceBuilding the organisational rhythms including weekly scrubs, monthly reviews and quarterly resets, that sustain OKR momentum
  • From Strategy to SprintTranslating quarterly OKRs into clear individual and team weekly priorities, ending the "busy but not progressing" cycle

What Your Leaders Will Be Able to Do

Set and communicate bold, clear organisational objectives
Design Key Results that measure meaningful progress
Align distributed and DAO teams around shared goals
Build execution rhythms that sustain strategic momentum
Translate strategy into weekly team priorities
Review and adapt OKRs to fast-changing market conditions
Suitable for: Leadership teams, Founders, COOs, Programme leads in larger protocols
Why This Matters Now

The Leadership Gap is Web3's Hidden Risk.

The data is clear. Most Web3 projects do not fail because of bad technology. They fail because of bad team dynamics: poor communication, misaligned leadership, unclear strategy and founders who never developed the management skills to scale beyond 10 people.

While the traditional corporate world invests heavily in leadership development, the Web3 space has largely treated it as optional. We believe this is the single biggest growth lever that Web3 projects consistently leave on the table.

We have been inside the leadership challenges of top-100 CoinMarketCap projects since 2018. We know what it looks like when a brilliant founding team starts fracturing under scale. And we know how to fix it before it becomes a crisis.

Our leadership programmes are immersive, highly practical and built around your specific situation. We do not deliver lectures. We facilitate real conversations, real role-plays and real decisions.

Whether you are a founder who has never managed people before, a team lead trying to navigate rapid hiring, or a senior leader trying to build a performance culture in a DAO structure, we have a programme designed exactly for you.

Every engagement begins with a deep discovery conversation. We diagnose your leadership challenges, understand your team dynamics and build something that fits your exact situation.
